    FREEGrace Educational Programs

Many talk about grace and truth, but few teach it. Grace School of Theology is dedicated to the teaching of Free Grace Theology and its practical application into ministry. To do this, we've created a comprehensive FREEGrace educational program specifically designed to teach how free grace should impact our teaching, ministries, and lives.

To accomplish this, we have assembled a cadre of highly qualified professors who clearly understand the role that free grace plays in ministry and study of the scriptures. Additionally, we have created and formalized three degree programs and two non-degree certificate programs, and most of our courses are open for enrichment students not pursuing a degree or certificate.

The advantages to the student are:

    1. Teaching Programs: Clear, fundamental, and easy to understand theological courses to change you, your ministry, and your world.
    2. Relationship Opportunities: Interpersonal and organizational relationships you can count on to help you do ministry and serve to the glory of God.
    3. Service Equipping: Opportunity to put your knowledge and new skills into practice, enabling ministry and personal growth in confidence and ability.
Engaging the next generation in free grace and truth to change your world. It has never been this accessible and easy to put into practice!

Our FREEGrace program contains the following educational options:

    General Education and Enrichment -

    1. Biblical Studies Certificate (BSC): This Biblical Studies Certificate program is designed for the Christian layperson who desires a flexible and less demanding course of study that will provide a general knowledge of the Bible and basic theology. This one year (30 credit hours) certificate program is ideal for those volunteering in the local church or other ministry, and who wish to be further equipped but do not have the time or inclination to enter a formal master's level degree program. For more information about the BSC program at GRACE, including an overview of the BSC curriculum, click here >>>
    2. Theological Studies Certificate: This Theological Studies Certificate program is designed for the Christian layperson who desires a flexible and less demanding course of study that will provide a general knowledge of the Bible and basic theology. This one year (30 credit hours) certificate is ideal for those volunteering in the local church or other ministry, and who wish to be further equipped but do not have the time or inclination to enter a formal master's level degree program.
    3. Taking Seminary Courses for Audit/Non-Credit: Most of our courses may be taken for audit rather than for credit. The audit student is not required to complete any of the assigned material for the course, and any material completed may not be graded depending on the availability and discretion of the professor. For more information about our Enrichment courses, click here >>>

    Masters Programs -

    1. Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (MABS): The MABS degree program at GSOT offers graduate-level biblical and theological instruction aimed at providing a solid foundation in the Scriptures. With fewer electives and no courses covering the original languages, this degree program is not designed for those seeking preparation for pastoral ministry or other ministries where the primary task is the teaching and preaching. For more information about the MABS degree program at GSOT, including an overview of the MABS degree plan, click here >>>
    2. Master of Divinity (MDiv): The MDiv degree is traditionally the most common seminary degree for equipping those whose desire is to serve the Lord in some type of professional ministry capacity. At GSOT, the MDiv degree is uniquely structured to balance biblical and theological studies with ministry skills courses. For more information about the MDiv degree program at GSOT, including an overview of the MDiv degree plan, click here >>>
    3. Master of Theology (ThM) : The ThM degree is the highest master's level degree program available for those in professional ministry. Like the MDiv degree program, this program is designed primarily to equip pastors and others whose desire is to serve the Lord in some type of professional ministry capacity. The ThM degree at GSOT builds upon the MDiv by adding thirty additional credit hours of course work. These include: twelve credit hours of biblical languages, six credit hours of Bible exposition courses, six hours of practical ministry courses, three hours of master's thesis work, and three additional elective hours.
